The Tractor Supply Co. store in Queen Creek will hold its grand opening on Saturday, Oct. 15, with specially priced merchandise Oct. 13-16. The store officially opened for business Oct. 8.
Queen Creek is Tractor Supply’s 32nd store in Arizona and employs 13 team members. The facility at 24930 S. Ellsworth Road, has 21,702 square feet, including sales floor and support service space.
To celebrate the grand opening of the store, shoppers will receive 10 percent off their first purchase, up to $100, from Oct. 13 to Oct. 16. They also can enter to win prizes including store gift cards that can be used for pet feed, clothing, power tools and other items.
In addition, free Tractor Supply caps will be given away while supplies last.
The grand opening event on Oct. 15 will feature a number of activities, including a display by the local antique tractor club and a ribbon-cutting at 8 a.m. with Queen Creek Mayor Gail Barney and representatives from the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.
Regular operating hours for the store are 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., Monday through Saturday, and 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Sunday.
Tractor Supply is a rural lifestyle retail store chain in the U.S. and has been operating in Arizona since 2013, according to a press release.
“Queen Creek is a great location for Tractor Supply Co. because there are a lot of families with riding stables and hobby farms in the area,” Store Manager Paul Schmidt said in the release. “Our knowledgeable, friendly team looks forward to providing our neighbors with Tractor Supply’s legendary customer service.”
Mr. Schmidt, an Illinois native, joined Tractor Supply in 2014 as a manager in training at the Apache Junction location. He brings 25 years of retail experience to the Tractor Supply team.
As store manager, Mr. Schmidt oversees all store operations, including receiving, inventory control and merchandising, as well as customer and team member relations.
