The American Heritage Festival returns for its 14th year to Queen Creek on Saturday, Nov. 19. The educational living history event will take place 10 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Schnepf Farms, 24610 S. Rittenhouse Road.
It celebrates American history from the Colonial era to the American Revolution, mountain men, pioneers, the Civil War, Westward Expansion and on through the 20th century. Battles from the Revolutionary and Civil wares are reenacted, as are live historic music, drama, fashion show, interactive children’s activities, historic speeches, a church service and living history demonstrations. Food and shopping will be offered.
Presentations will be offered to school groups only Nov. 17-18.
Admission for the public day is $15 at the event. Discount passes are available online through Oct. 31.
