‘It’s Feline a Lot Like Christmas’ cat show and adoption event Dec. 10-11 in Mesa

The “It’s Feline A Lot Like Christmas”  cat show and adoption event is 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 10, and 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 11, at Mesa Convention Center, 263 N. Center St.

The show and adoption event is being held to promote interest in and knowledge of cats through education, cultivate friendship and common interests among cat enthusiasts and promote the welfare of all cats, according to a press release.

The show will feature 350 pedigreed cats and kittens and their owners, plus vendors with feline-related merchandise for sale. Cornish Rex cats will be featured. Visitors will have opportunities to watch judges evaluate the cats, plus meet breeders and exhibitors. Veteran cats, 7 years and older, will have their own judging. Household pets also have their own judging.

Free parking on-site. Cost for the show is $9 adults; $7 seniors/military; $5 for children 3-12 accompanied by an adult; and under 3 free, A family four pack is $20 for two adults and two children ages 3-12. The show is hosted by the Phoenix Feline Fanciers, which is a member club of The Cat Fanciers’ Association.
