Another new restaurant will open in Queen Creek when Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen holds a ribbon-cutting ceremony starting at 9 a.m. Monday, Oct. 31, on the southwest corner of Ocotillo and Ellsworth Loop roads.
The ceremony will be conducted in partnership with the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce.
The grand opening events will take place 9-10 a.m. They include visits by local officials and a performance by the Queen Creek High School band, Carolina Dati, the Popeyes market ambassador for its restaurants in Arizona, Colorado, Nevada and Utah, said during a phone interview.
In addition, the restaurant will give away Popeyes lanyard key-holders during the grand opening.
Popeyes Queen Creek will be mailing a discount card offer about 45 days after the grand opening, Ms. Dati said.
The fried chicken eatery will be open 10 a.m.-10 p.m. daily, Ms. Dati said. The store will employ about 75 people to begin, and may taper back to about 35-40 employees, she said.
