“Little change in the forecast expected for (Oct. 21). Daytime highs should reach the into the 95˚F-98˚F range around the Valley. East winds will be breezy in the 7-14 mph range throughout the day with greater gusts around 15-25 mph especially during the morning and evening hours. For Saturday plan on mid-90s despite an uptick in afternoon high clouds. If enough moisture makes it into southern Arizona, could see some isolated showers/t-storms across southeast Arizona into the evening hours. A period of unsettled weather is then expected to begin Sunday lasting into Tuesday with chances for rain each day and milder temperatures around the county,” D. Henz of the flood control district wrote in a weather outlook for Maricopa County.
