Barro’s Pizza to open Feb. 1 in Queen Creek

Barro’s Pizza is opening Monday, Feb. 1, in the Queen Creek Marketplace, 2014 E. Rittenhouse Road in Queen Creek. This is Barro’s 37th Valley location.

It will serve the traditional Barro’s family recipes and will offer dine-in, take-out and delivery to the Queen Creek area.

Family-owned Barro’s Pizza has been in the Valley for more than 35 years. Its menu includes thick, fluffy crust pizzas as well as chicken wings, pastas, subs, gluten-free pizza options, dessert, beer and wine.

Barro’s Pizza opened its first store in Queen Creek in 2004, and another in San Tan Valley in 2007. In late 2014, the previous Queen Creek location moved to a larger restaurant 3 miles away in Gilbert.

“When we made the decision to move our Queen Creek location to Gilbert, we knew there would still be a need for Barro’s Pizza further east. After a few months of searching, we found a great location at the Queen Creek Marketplace. We are proud to be able to meet those needs with the opening of our 37th location,” Bruce Barro said in the release.

The Queen Creek restaurant will be open 11 a.m.-10 p.m. Sunday-Thursday 11 a.m.-11 p.m. Friday-Saturday. Daily lunch specials will be available every day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
