T.J. Maxx to open Queen Creek store March 6

T.J. Maxx will open its new 23,045-square-foot store in Queen Creek on Sunday, March 6. The store is in the Queen Creek Marketplace, 21118 S. Ellsworth Loop.

T.J. Maxx is an off-price retailer with more than 1,000 stores operating in 49 states and Puerto Rico. It sells fashion and accessories, jewelry, home, beauty, pet products and toys, among other items, according to a press release.

The grand opening will take place 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Sunday, March 6. Reusable bags will be given to the first 1,000 customers, according to a press release. During a 7:30 a.m. ribbon-cutting that day, T.J. Maxx will contribute to the surrounding community by presenting a $5,000 donation to Save the Family.

“We are pleased to expand our store base to Queen Creek, delivering value and an exciting selection of merchandise to serve the needs of customers,” said Richard Sherr, president of T.J. Maxx, in the release. “With thousands of new items from top designers and brands arriving in stores weekly from around the world, shoppers will discover a new store full of amazing values every time they visit.”

The store’s regular hours will be 9:30 a.m.-9:30 p.m. Monday-Saturday and 11 a.m.-8 p.m. Sundays.

The store offers an easy-to-shop layout, bright and spacious dressing rooms and a single-line queue for faster checkout.
