Sprouts Queen Creek plans Arizona food sampling during grand opening week

Sprouts Farmers Market is opening two stores in the next few weeks in the far east Valley – one in Queen Creek and the other in Chandler.

Queen Creek

Sprouts Queen Creek will open at 7 a.m. Wednesday, May 4, in the QC District, 21181 S. Ellsworth Loop Road in Queen Creek. Sprouts Queen Creek will present its Taste of Arizona local sampling event as part of its grand opening week events from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, May 7, according to a press release.

Sprouts staff members invite the public to celebrate products made and produced in Arizona. The event will feature goods from local vendors such as Wholesum Harvest, Tanimura & Antle, Abby Lee Farms, Everkrisp Vegetables, Pacific International Marketing, Spinato’s, Sedona Bottling, Pickled Perfection, SanTan Brewing Company and Danzeisen Dairy, according to the release.

Chandler

Sprouts Chandler will open at 7 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, at 4065 S. Gilbert Road in Chandler.

As part of the Sprouts Chandler opening week, the store will host a book signing with Lisa Lillien – a.k.a. Hungry Girl – at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 30. Ms. Lillien is a New York Times best-selling author and the creator of the Hungry Girl brand. Her latest book, “Hungry Girl Clean & Hungry,” features all-natural recipes for healthy eating in the real world.
