Democrats to discuss Prop 123 at March 29 meeting

The Northern Pinal County Democratic Club, under the leadership of Kathy Guillen, will meet Tuesday, March 29, in the Palo Verde Room at the Mountainbrook Village Recreation Center, 5764 S. Marble Drive, off MountainBrook Drive in Gold Canyon. The meeting will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a meet-and-greet followed at 7 p.m. by the business meeting.

Attendees should park on the south side of the building. The Palo Verde Room is the middle door in the building on the left.

The agenda will feature a discussion on Proposition 123 by Dr. Tim Ogle, executive director of the Arizona School Board Association. Dr. Ogle will speak about the proposition that could provide funding for Ariona schools.

Candidates for office are welcome and will have an opportunity to address the meeting, gather signatures and meet voters.

In addition, there will also be discussion on the reorganization of the club and actions going forward during this election cycle and beyond.

All people who share the values of the Democratic Party are welcome to attend, get involved with the election process and have an opportunity to learn about the issues and get to know your candidates for office, according to a press release.
