ADOT works to inform the public about planned freeway restrictions, but there is a possibility that unscheduled closures or restrictions may occur. Weather can also affect a project schedule. To stay up-to-date with the latest highway conditions around the state, visit the ADOT Traveler Information Center at www.az511.gov or call 511.

The Loop 202 (Red Mountain Freeway) improvement project is adding one new general travel lane in each direction between Loop 101 and Gilbert Road and one High Occupancy Vehicle (HOV) lane in each direction between Gilbert and Broadway roads. The entire project is scheduled for completion in spring 2016. For more information, including all traffic alerts about this project please call 855.712.8530 or email projects@azdot.gov.
