Temporary closures at U.S. 60, Meridian Road Oct. 4-6

The traffic interchange at U.S. Highway 60 and Meridian Road between Mesa and Apache Junction is nearing completion. There will be temporary lane restrictions and off-/on-ramp closures on U.S. 60 Sunday, Oct. 4, through Tuesday, Oct. 6.

Arizona Department of Transportation has provided the following information about the temporary night closures:

From 8 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 4, through to 5 a.m. Monday, Oct. 5, and again from 8 p.m. Monday, Oct. 5, to 5 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 6, both eastbound and westbound right lanes on U.S. 60 will be closed between Signal Butte Road and Ironwood Drive while workers place thermo striping.

The eastbound U.S. 60/Signal Butte Road on-ramp and the westbound U.S. 60/Signal Butte Road off-ramp also will be closed during those times.
