Ellsworth Elementary School participated in the Great Kindness Challenge the week of Feb. 4.

“Students took part in activities to increase kindness throughout the school that were planned by the Kindness Club. All students attended a school assembly presented by the ‘Be Kind People Project,'” according to a release.

As part of the assembly, Baxter from the Arizona Diamondbacks and a representative from Safelite Auto Glass presented the school with a donation of a Buddy Bench.

The school, 38454 N. Carolina Ave. in San Tan Valley, is in the J.O. Combs Unified School District.
