Combs Middle School student Hunter Clare collected more than 1,800 books for his Eagle Scout project, “Free Little Library,” to serve his school community.

“The Free Little Library belongs to everyone and the books are always free. The library has been dedicated to honor Hunter’s neighbor who passed away last year,” according to a release.

“Mrs. Kaechelein was very involved in our community, especially at Simonton Elementary. I often saw her volunteering at the school or working at the book fair. I hope that our community will love the books and love reading as much as I do,” Hunter said in the release.
