Mother’s Day Shopping Spree and Family Fair May 9 at Mountain Vista Middle School

The Mother’s Day Shopping Spree and Family Fair will be held from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, May 9, at Mountain Vista Middle School, 33622 N. Mountain Vista Blvd. in the San Tan Heights community in San Tan Valley.
The fair offers free gifts to nominated mothers who otherwise wouldn’t be able to receive gifts due to circumstances, according to a press release.
“To remedy the situation, we partnered with over 100 vendors including direct sales companies, crafters, artists, painters, etc., offering their merchandise to the residents of San Tan Valley and the surrounding areas,” said Angela Smith of Keep It Local LLC, the organizer of the event.
The event is open to the public. There is a $1 entrance fee per person or a maximum of $3 per family.
All proceeds go directly to paying for a nominated mom’s shopping spree, according to the release.
There will be carnival games and bounce houses for the kids and music, raffles, prizes, shopping and food for the whole family.
For more information, call Ms. Smith at 602-410-0821, e-mail her at or visit
People may become a vendor, sponsor or volunteer to help make Mother’s Day 2015 memorable for the moms in the community who need some help this holiday.
