Queen Creek future farmers attend state event

Five students at Queen Creek High School, 22140 E. Ocotillo Road, participated in the Future Farmers of America State Leadership Conference held June 5-7 in Tucson.

The conference is an annual gathering of almost one thousand FFA members from across the state for a weekend full of learning, awards recognition and fun, according to the FFA website.

The Queen Creek students in attendance were Nicole Van Eerd, Megan McCarrell, Bryce Cluff, Reagan Kempton and Paige Gangloff.

The Queen Creek Independent is mailed each month to 35,000 homes.
