Queen Creek High School spiritline members earn four first-place finishes at state

The Queen Creek High School spiritline team competed in the Arizona state cheerleading and pom tournament on Saturday, March 5, at the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum and took home four first-place finishes, according to the school’s athletics department website.

Varsity cheer and junior varsity cheer placed first as a team while soloists Kyla and Amanda took first in their respective dance events. Varsity pom and the varsity stunt group took a close second in their competitions.

Varsity cheer and varsity pom members were to next travel to Anaheim, California, to compete in the March 17 USA Spirit Nationals.
