Queen Creek High School wrestlers compete in tournament

Wrestlers from Queen Creek High School, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road, competed May 6-8 in the Western Regional Wrestling tournament in Las Vegas. They are the first QCHS wrestlers to go to a tournament of this magnitude.

Anthony Saba took sixth place in folkstyle and greco-roman wrestling. Matt Saba went 3-2 in freestyle, two matches out of placing, while Chris Reyes went 3-2 in freestyle, two matches out of placing. Reyes went 3-2 in greco-Roman and was two matches away from placing.

The trip was paid for by the Queen Creek High School Athletic Booster Club.
