Queen Creek students share how they ‘Lead Out Loud’

(Independent Newspapers/Wendy Miller)

Student leaders from each elementary and middle school in the Queen Creek Unified School District reported at the Dec. 6 governing board meeting about their accomplishments in the Lead Out Loud program and their C.A.R.E. plans for the upcoming school year. C.A.R.E. stands for Champion in your
Community, Appointing Others, Raise School Spirit and Energize.

The C.A.R.E. plan is part of the QCUSD Strategic Plan, which has a goal to become a national leader in education, according to a press release. The strategic plan ensures a systematic roadmap providing focused objectives in eight areas, one of which is student and staff leadership development and skills.
