Lemonade Days returns to Queen Creek May 21, features Craig Campbell

Kick off the summer season with Lemonade Days from noon to 9 p.m. on Saturday, May 21, at Founders’ Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road in Queen Creek. Produced by HDE Agency, this summer fun event will offer a family friendly day of play complete with interactive games and activities, water fun in the splash park, great food and live entertainment featuring Craig Campbell.

“We had such a great time bringing this event to the town of Queen Creek last year that we decided to bring it back again for another year of summer fun for the whole family,” said Landon Evans, event coordinator. “We are committed to making Lemonade Days a signature, family friendly event for the town of Queen Creek.

Grab a handful of lemons and join in on the fun with Arizona’s largest lemon squeeze, enjoy the Arnold Palmer’s putt-putt driving range or compete in the 2016 State Cornhole tournament. Other event highlights include local food vendors, craft beer and summer shandys, hard lemonades and spirits.

Lemonade Days will also feature a free Summer Splash event for kids from 9 a.m. to noon in the splash pad area, just outside of the Lemonade Days grounds.

Mr. Campbell will headline the entertainment lineup, performing live from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. The country music singer from Lyons, Georgia, may be best known for his single “Family Man” which reached No. 14 on the Billboard Top 20 in April, 2011, selling more than a quarter of a million downloads. Mr. Campbell recently released a new single “Outskirts of Heaven.”

Admission for the Summer Splash portion of the day is free. General admission for Lemonade Days is $8 online during presale and $10 at the gate; kids 12 years and under will be admitted for free. Attractions and activities at the event, excluding entertainment, have additional costs. Wristbands for the kid zone, including water inflatables, are $20. VIP admission is $45 per person and includes access to a private seating area, private restrooms, six alcoholic beverages, unlimited soft drinks and water, catered food and exclusive stage view access.

A portion of the proceeds from Lemonade Days will support the American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy, a foundation that operates with a mission to create awareness of the heart muscle disease, cardiomyopathy; and to support those already affected, the American Foundation for Cardiomyopathy is dedicated to providing families with heart screenings, resources, training opportunities and other support.
