Nov. 7: Rudy Clark Roping

Rudy Clark Roping: 5 p.m., Horseshoe Park and Equestrian Centre, 20464 E. Riggs Road in Queen Creek. Free for spectators. This traditional method of handling cattle on the open range involves one rider roping the horns while the other ropes the heels. This is a family-friendly event and spectators are invited and encouraged to approach the horse riders to learn about the event and ask questions about them or their horse. All events at Horseshoe Park are catered by Cutters BBQ. There is a cost for food. For more information, call 520-240-3076.
