Theater to celebrate renovation Oct. 19 with free concert

Queen Creek Performing Arts Center, 22149 E. Ocotillo Road in Queen Creek, will hold a Renovation Celebration starting at 5:30 p.m., Monday, Oct. 19. The public is invited to the free event.

There will be a ribbon-cutting ceremony at 6 p.m. Activities will include tours of the renovated facility from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a concert by the band Firefly at 7 p.m.

Other activities include a bounce house, face-painting and children’s crafts. Food from Waffle Crush and Carh’s Kitchen will be available for purchase.
