Queen Creek Parks and Recreation offers a wide variety of art classes, including some where a person can learn to draw and paint. Four drawing and painting classes are scheduled to be offered this fall: two for adults, one for teens and one for preschool-age kids. The classes will be taught by Miri Weible. Fall drawing and painting sessions start in September. These photos were taken at the end of the summer session. All classes take place at the Queen Creek Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road. Registration is on a first-come, first-served basis and is available at the Recreation Annex or by using the online option at http://queencreek.org/departments/parks-recreation/activity-registration, which is available 24 hours a day. Check with Queen Creek Parks and Recreation to verify times and fees. Fall program registration began Aug. 2 for residents and Aug. 9 for non-residents. For more information on recreation programs, call 480-358-3700 or visit the town’s website at http://www.queencreek.org/departments/parks-recreation.
