QC chamber and Kiwanis host holiday parade

On Dec. 5 the Queen Creek Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club hosted a parade and festival in Downtown Queen Creek. This year the theme was “Toyland Christmas.” Parade entries were judged by a panel of volunteers in three categories: originality, holiday theme and overall appearance. There were 65 total entries in the parade from local businesses and school groups. The parade will headed north on Old Ellsworth Road from Sierra Park Boulevard (south of Ocotillo) toward Victoria Lane. It ended at the Queen Creek Branch Library and Recreation Annex.
