Queen Creek to offer free landscape watering class April 23

April is Water Awareness Month, and the town of Queen Creek is helping its residents to conserve Arizona’s precious resource through a free workshop.

The ABC’s of Landscape Watering will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, April 23 at the Queen Creek Town Hall, 22350 S. Ellsworth Road.

Outdoor watering is often the largest water use for a household, so it is important to understand, and optimize a home’s irrigation controller. In addition to learning how to program a controller, participants will learn how to efficiently water plants and grass.

Workshops are offered free of charge to town of Queen Creek utility customers, but advanced registration is required.
