Queen Creek holiday parade registration ends Nov. 27

Entry applications for the Dec. 5 Queen Creek holiday parade are being accepted through Friday, Nov. 27, according to the event website.

This year’s event kicks off at at 3:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at the south end of Ellsworth Road near Sierra Park; it will end near the Queen Creek Branch Library, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road.

This year’s theme is “Toyland Christmas.”

The entry fee is $45 for nonprofit organizations and $70 for commercial entries.

During the parade, attendees line up and down Ellsworth Road to catch a glimpse of all the decorated floats. Local clubs, groups, organizations and businesses make up the parade. There are about 1,000 parade participants each year. It is a fun and creative way to partake in the event.

Parade route:

The parade proceeds north on Ellsworth Road just past the Queen Creek Branch Library.
