Informational meeting about Queen Creek Mandarin school program April 8

There will be an informational meeting for parents interested in enrolling their students in a Mandarin language immersion program.

The meeting will be at 6 p.m., on Wednesday, April 8, at Coronado Elementary School, 433 S. DeAnza Blvd. in Gilbert.

The Mandarin program for the 2015-16 school year will be open to students in kindergarten, first grade and second grade. During the day, students will spend half of their time with a native Mandarin-speaking teacher. The second half of their day will be spent with an English-speaking teacher.

The next informational meeting will be at 9 a.m. on Thursday, May 14.
