Queen Creek area traffic advisories

The town of Queen Creek announced the following road restrictions in August and September in the community:

1. 178th Street is closed between Ocotillo Road and Appaloosa Drive for earthwork, paving and concrete. Once 178th Street is completed, the Bronco Drive access will be closed. This is a 24-hour closure through Sept. 30.

2. Ocotillo Road eastbound and westbound is missing lane lines between 214th Place and 220th Street. Eastbound to northbound, left turns will be restricted at this intersection Aug. 28-31. Ocotillo Road eastbound and westbound restricted to one lane each direction between 214th Place and 220th Street. Eastbound to northbound, left turns will be restricted at this intersection. This is in effect 8:30 a.m.-2 p.m. daily Aug. 29-Sept. 1.

3. Ocotillo Road driveway closures at Queen Creek Public Library parking lot for utility work. 24-hour through Sept. 2.

4. Ellsworth Road northbound lane shift between Sierra Park and Aldecoa Road for utility work. 24-hour through Sept. 16. Ellsworth Road northbound and southbound lane shifts and flagging operation between Sierra Park and Aldecoa Road for utility work. This is in effect 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily Aug. 29-Oct. 31.

5. Combs Road eastbound and westbound speed reductions and lane shifts between Meridian Road and Warrior Way for grading and paving. In effect 24 hours through Sept. 30.

6. Ocotillo Road eastbound shoulder closure and lane shift at Hawes Road for paving. In effect through Sept. 19; 24-hour shoulder and 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. lane shift.

7. Ocotillo Road westbound right lane closure between Ellsworth Loop Road to 205th Street for utility work. In effect 24 hours on Sept. 2.

8. Victoria Lane eastbound and westbound flagging operation between Ellsworth Loop Road to 202nd Place for utility work. In effect 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. through Sept. 9.

9. Ellsworth Road northbound and southbound lane closures between Riggs Road and Cloud Road for grading, paving and utility work. In effect through Sept. 2; northbound 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m.; southbound 24 hour.

10. Ellsworth Loop Road northbound and southbound lane closures between Ocotillo Road and Queen Creek Wash for boring and trenching work. In effect through Sept. 2; 8:30 a.m.-4 p.m. daily.

11. Advanced notice: There will be a full closure of Ocotillo Road between 178th Street and Power Road 9 p.m.-5 a.m. Sept. 6 for pavement re-striping.
