Queen Creek planning for annual pancake breakfast with town officials

LOGO QC Pancake Breakfast

Queen Creek residents are invited to meet with town officials to talk about “what’s cooking in town” during the annual Queen Creek Pancake Breakfast. It is scheduled for 9-11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 14, in the Queen Creek Town Hall courtyard, 22350 S. Ellsworth Road.

The breakfast is free.

This fun and casual community outreach program provides residents opportunities to have their opinions heard and encourages them to learn about projects affecting Queen Creek, according to the town’s website.

Town representatives will be on hand to answer questions and display upcoming projects. Topics to be covered include: the town council’s five-year goals; plans for the Town Center area; road improvements; sewer and wastewater projects; the approved General Plan; economic development goals and strategies; dust control initiatives; Queen Creek Water service; fire service and public safety; and garbage and recycling services.

For more information or to suggest  a topic to be covered on a future date, contact Debra Kuffner at Debra.Kuffner@queencreek.org.

In conjunction with the breakfast, free flu shots for individuals ages 6 months and older will be given by the Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department 10 a.m.-1 p.m., also in the Queen Creek Town Hall courtyard.  Dignity Health is providing the vaccines.

To guarantee a flu shot, register online.

The Queen Creek Independent is mailed each month to 35,000 homes.
