The town of Queen Creek is seeking vendors to provide informational tables and educational sessions at the second annual Young at Heart Senior Health and Wellness Expo. The event will be held from 9 a.m. to noon on Wednesday, March 16, at the Recreation Annex, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road in Queen Creek.

More than 100 individuals attended last year’s free community event to take advantage of health screenings, educational displays, information tables, lectures, community resources and demonstrations, according to a press release.

Early registration is due Feb. 17; late registrations are due Feb. 29 and include an additional $15 fee. Vendor registration forms are available online and at the Recreation Annex. The registration fee for an information table is $40 and an educational session is $50. The fee is $70 for both an information table and educational session.

Information tables are limited to 35 and educational sessions are limited to eight; spaces will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis. Sales are prohibited during the event and on town property.

For more information about the event, sponsorship opportunities or to volunteer, call Christina Lopez at 480-358-3718 or Christina.Lopez@QueenCreek.org.

The town’s senior program is open to individuals 50 years of age and older. The program meets 9 a.m.-noon every Wednesday at the recreation annex to provide opportunities for socializing, activities and fun adventures.

The program is free; however some field trips and activities may require a nominal fee.
