Queen Creek traffic advisory through September

The town of Queen Creek reports the following traffic advisories through the month of September:

•Ellsworth Road from Barnes Parkway to Ellsworth Loop Road (North Connector): A full closure is in place on Ellsworth Road for construction of new roadway and a new intersection at Walnut Road 24 hours a day through Aug. 8. This work is being completed as Phase 1 of the Town Capital Improvement Project.

•Ocotillo Road from 218th Place to Crismon: Ocotillo Road has four lanes of travel open; however, two of those lanes may be on a temporary surface. The plan is to have four lanes of paved travel open by Aug. 15.

•Ocotillo Road from 214th Place to Scotland Court: Eastbound and westbound lane shifts are in place on Ocotillo Road between 214th Place and Scotland Court for roadway improvements. Eastbound to northbound left turns are restricted at Crismon Road and flagging operations are in place at Scotland Court are in place 24 hours a day through Aug. 15.

•Ocotillo Road at Ellsworth Road: There are eastbound  lane shifts on Ocotillo Road through Aug. 19 for utility work.

•Riggs Road between 198th Street and Ellsworth Road: Expect eastbound and westbound land shifts through Aug. 30 for roadway widening conducted by Maricopa County. In addition, southbound and northbound shoulder closures will be in place on Hawes Road.

•178th Street is closed 24 hours a day between Ocotillo Road and Appaloosa Drive through Sept. 30 for earthwork, paving and concrete.
