Rittenhouse Road improvements from Sossaman Road to Queen Creek Marketplace, 21118 S. Ellsworth Loop at Rittenhouse, include widening the roadway, curb gutter, sidewalks on the south side of the roadway and realignment of the Hawes Road intersection.

To accomplish the realignment, Hawes will be closed at Rittenhouse until Nov. 6. Rittenhouse will remain open for travel, but there will be no access to or from Rittenhouse at Hawes, according to a press release.

The entire project is anticipated to be complete by the spring of 2016.

The town is aware that road construction is inconvenient, but it will result in better roads ahead, according to the release.
