Youth football league to host skills and drills camp June 10-11

The San Tan Youth Football Summer Skills and Drills Camp will be held on Friday, June 10, and Saturday, June 11, at Desert Mountain Park, 22201 S. Hawes Road in Queen Creek.The camp is open to boys and girls ages 5-14.

Hours will be 6-8 p.m. Friday and 9-11 a.m. Saturday.

The two-day camp will not be full contact; it will consist of drills with tackling dummies, according to a press release. No protective equipment (helmet, shoulders pads, etc.) will be required or allowed.

Attendees will get to visit with special guests from the Arizona Cardinals — Kevin Minter and Darren Fells.

Registration is required. The $75 registration fee includes a camp T-shirt.
