Above normal temperatures forecast through the weekend

Plan on above normal temperatures through the weekend around the Valley, according to the Flood Control District of Maricopa County’s forecast.

“With high pressure still the dominant weather feature we will continue with above normal temperatures through the weekend.  Northern zones (Aguila over to Carefree) will see highs from 80 (March 18) to 85 on Sunday, with lows in the mid-50s.  Southern zones including greater Phoenix will experience 87 degrees (March 18) through 91 degrees on Sunday (March 20).

Lows will drop to about 55 in Gila Bend and 58 in the city. All three days will be sunny to mostly sunny and no winds of consequence,” S. Waters of the flood control district wrote in a weather outlook for Maricopa County.
