No insurance information is needed.

Dignity Health is providing the vaccines and will include two types, a Trivalent and Quadrivalent. Both vaccines protect against influenza A (H1N1) viruses, influenza A (H3N2) viruses and influenza B viruses. The Quadrivalent also protects against an additional B virus (B/Brisbane/60/2008-like virus). The Trivalent vaccine will be used for those with a serious allergy to eggs.

An initial screening will be completed prior to receiving the shot and individuals may be referred elsewhere based on his or her need.

The flu shot clinic will take place in conjunction with the town’s annual Community Pancake Breakfast. Wake up to what’s cooking in town from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. That same day in the courtyard at Queen Creek Town Hall. The free, fun and casual outreach program provides residents with the opportunity to have their opinions heard while learning more about the town.
Representatives will be on hand to answer questions and share upcoming programs.

The Queen Creek Independent is mailed each month to 35,000 homes.
