Events, activities offered in May in Queen Creek

May is a busy month for the Town of Queen Creek with a variety of events and activities happening throughout the community. If you are looking for something to do this month, Queen Creek has something for everyone!

•QC Food Truck Feastival: 5:30-9 p.m., Friday nights, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road

The Queen Creek Food Truck Feastival continues every Friday night with a variety of food trucks. The event includes music and boutique vendors.

•Peach Festival – Paint the town peach: 7:30 a.m. – 4 p.m., May 14-22, , 24810 S. Rittenhouse Road

Pick peaches at Schnepf Farms, an organic and pesticide free peach grower. The Peach Festival includes hay rides to the orchards, live music, train rides, the Peachy Sampling Pavilion with food ranging from sweets to salsas, water activities, peachy arts and crafts booths and more. Admission is free. Prices for food and activities vary. Increased traffic is anticipated on Saturday and Sunday.

•Free Children’s’ Vaccination Clinic: 9 a.m.-noon, May 21, 21802 S. Ellsworth Road

The Queen Creek Fire and Medical Department and Chandler Regional Medical Center are offering a free children’s vaccine clinic at the Queen Creek Recreation Annex. Vaccinations are available for qualifying children 6 weeks through 18 years of age. To register for the free vaccination clinic, visit QueenCreek.org/Vaccine.

Squeeze in some fun during Lemonade Days, May 21 in Queen Creek

Tickets are on sale for Lemonade Days, a family-friendly event that will take place noon-9 p.m. Saturday, May 21, at Founders’ Park, 22407 S. Ellsworth Road.

This summer fun event will offer a day of play complete with interactive games and activities, water fun in the splash park, great food and live entertainment by singer Craig Campbell.

Attendees can grab a handful of lemons and join in on the fun with Arizona’s largest lemon squeeze, enjoy the Arnold Palmer’s putt-putt driving range or compete in the 2016 State Cornhole tournament. Other event highlights include local food vendors, craft beer, hard lemonades and spirits, according to a press release.

As an added bonus, Lemonade Days will also feature a free Summer Splash event for kids from 9 a.m. to noon in the splash pad area, just outside of the Lemonade Days grounds. Mr. Campbell will perform from 7:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.

Produced by HDE Agency, this summer fun event will offer a family friendly day of play complete with interactive games and activities, water fun in the splash park, great food and live entertainment featuring Craig Campbell.

“We had such a great time bringing this event to the town of Queen Creek last year that we decided to bring it back again for another year of summer fun for the whole family,” said Landon Evans, event coordinator. “We are committed to making Lemonade Days a signature, family friendly event for the town of Queen Creek.
